is available through Library Reserve, including E-Reserves. Fair Use Analysis
completed for each item.
1. Books:
a. Print
books: Use Library Reserve to deposit a
physical copy. The item will be
removed/returned
at the end of the semester.
b. Electronic
book: provide library catalog record information so students can access and
“check out.”
c. Book
chapters:
i. Obtain
permission from publisher if necessary (will NOT be done by Library Reserve).
ii. Provide Library Reserve with either print or
electronic versions of chapters.
iii. The item will be removed/returned at the end
of the semester.
2. Manuscripts
or other non-published material
a. If
attribution is not apparent, please provide.
b. Use
Library Reserve to deposit a physical copy. The item will be removed/returned
at the end of the
semester.
c. If
available electronically, provide URL information in syllabus.
3. Reports
a. Use
Library Reserve to deposit a physical copy. The item will be removed/returned
at the end of the
semester.
b. If
available electronically, provide URL information in syllabus.
4. Articles:
a. Available
through the Library:
i. Provide
citation information so students can locate either electronic or print version
or through
Library Reserve.
b. Not
available through the Library:
i. Obtain
permission from publisher if necessary.
ii. Provide print or electronic version to
Library Reserve.
iii. The item will be removed/returned at the end
of the semester.
